Training of Trainers and Local Roadshow “Thematic Paper Cards Preparation- Christmas Cards”

Fix Small Art EU aims in supporting social inclusion and communication skills of people with mental and physical disabilities through their active involvement in art practices and techniques.

Continuing the activities of the EU project Erasmus+ KA2, entitled “FixSmallArt: Inclusive art for disabled people and mentally” Institute of Psychosocial Development organized a 3-hour Training of Trainers held on 19 November 2019 in its place, by the presence of its Scientific Associate Dimitra Papadima, MA, Child & Adolescent Counselor, Psychologist.
At the Training participated Ms Rizouli Vaso, Psychologist and Ms Kokkinou Nora, Social Worker from the Department of Disabled People of Larissa – Aristeas, as well as Ms Zerva Georgia, Social Worker from the Larissa’s Special School of Professional Training. The participants had the opportunity to be informed in Inclusive Training Techinques and Methodologies, to learn how to facilitate creative groups and how to make crafts with paper and everyday materials.

The Training was followed by a 5-hour Local Roadshow with the topic “Thematic Paper Cards Preparation- Christmas Cards”, held on 10 December 2019, at the place of the Department of Disabled People of Larissa – Aristeas, in Giannouli. The scientific associates of the host organization participated at the activity by the coordination of Ms Papadima Dimitra. The focus group was eight students with different types of disabilities/learning disabilities/mental disorders etc. The goal of “Local Roadshow” was the individuals’ implementation in creative leisure activities with the aiming of art crafting.
